I like your approach, its logical and makes sense. I dont agree with the crating stuff that other people insist on. Its fine for them to sleep in, but I dont feel they should never be let out with their family when their family is watching tv or around the house. Some people shouldnt have pets...especially if they arent going to even try to teach them to co-exist properly!

no my dog dose not show much emotion to people,yet he isint all dog ........... 87% wolf .but my malamute is VERY VERY VERY vocal but all he dose is rooooo roo roo and aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrraaraaraarrrraaaaaaaaaaaa evan when nobody is around
